The firm's founders, Paul Grant and Bob Kimmerling, have a combined experience of more than 40 years with high profile, local and national projects that includes high- and mid-rise buildings, waterfront structures, transportation systems and nuclear facilities.

The firm's President, Paul Grant, is a nationally recognized authority in geotechnical earthquake engineering and he has received engineering excellence awards for his design of some of Seattle's landmark structures, including the tieback excavation support system for Columbia Center (Bank of America Tower) and seismic recommendations for the retrofit of the Aurora Avenue Bridge with a Friction Pendulum Base Isolation system, which was the first use of this system on a bridge in the US. The firm's co-founder and Vice President, Bob Kimmerling, brings extensive deep foundation design experience and bridge experience to the firm, having worked for the Federal Highway Administration and having served as the Chief Foundation Engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation. Additionally, Bob is well versed in performing Finite Element Analysis for bridges and buildings and he co-developed and teaches a course on Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) for bridge substructures. Mr. Siew Tan, an Associate with PanGEO, has over 13 years experience in local projects including the Terminal 18 Development on the Seattle waterfront and the award winning Alderwood Boulevard Connector in Lynnwood.
